Christina Martin

Christina Martin was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Miami when she was 4 months old. She grew up in South Miami and began modeling at the age of 14 – she worked in Paris, New York and graduated high school from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. She followed by graduating from FIU with a degree in Communications and a minor in Public Relations.

She worked at NBC for 2 years as an entertainment reporter then went to work for the Mayor. She has served on the Miami-Dade County Hispanic Affairs Advisory and The Commission for Women.

Christina is involved in numerous philanthropic and community organizations including the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Lotus House, American Red Cross, Genesis Foster, American Cancer Society, and Miami Children’s Museum where she sits on the Board of Directors and has chaired their gala. She has also chaired various events including the Vizcaya Ball, Vizcaya Preservation Hat Luncheon, and American Cancer Society Annual Gala among others. She has been honored for her philanthropic efforts at the Big Brothers Big Sisters Miracle Makers Luncheon, American Cancer Society Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon, and Chapman Partnership’s Take A Walk in Her Shoes Luncheon.

Christina and her husband David Martin have been childhood friends and together for over 17 years. Married 12 of them. They have two children, David Antonio and Colette and reside in Miami Beach.
